I'm passionate about artist development and only too aware of the pressures put on artists to make, deliver, and often produce their own work without appropriate training. I have first-hand experience with the perils of being a freelancer and try to support artists to develop skills in producing to increase their resilience as well as help them to make their best work. 

 

From 2018 - 2022 I was Artistic Development Coordinator at the Tron Theatre Glasgow. Here I curated and managed the BUILD programme, a year-round programme of events, workshops, talks, and socials for anyone working professionally in theatre.

Since leaving the Tron I have designed and regularly facilitated Producing 101, a four-day intensive workshop for self-producing artists and emerging producers on the basics of theatre producing. I also offer producing support to individuals and emerging companies through one-to-one sessions including help writing funding applications, budgeting, project planning career development.
